LSI PICK UP TWO NORFOLK CONSTRUCTING EXCELLENCE AWARDS
LSI has won two awards at this years Norfolk Constructing Excellence Awards. The Practice was named Consultancy Practice of the Year, and won Integration and Collaborative Working with Kier for its UEA Crome Court Project.
Karl Thurston picked up the award for Integration and Collaborative Working on behalf of LSI and Kier and presented a snapshot of why Crome Court was able to achieve exemplary levels of collaboration, saying that “Bringing people together in a BIM environment naturally encouraged team work and collaboration. Everybody involved in the project ‘bought into’ the BIM process, fulfilled their role and supported others to fulfil theirs. The levels of collaboration achieved were crucial in enabling us to deliver to a rapid design programme with minimal errors; an example to the industry of how, when teams work collaboratively, they become greater than the sum of their parts.”
Partner Trevor Price then collected LSI’s second award of the night, the Consultancy Practice of the Year, saying “The fact that the majority of our £3m turnover derives from repeat business and framework commissions, is a testament to the quality of our service. Through consultation with our clients, they placed great value on the working relationships we have been able to forge with them, a client expressed that they had a “sense that LSI’s attributes run through the Practice like ‘a stick of rock’”, which we believe is a fantastic endorsement of our shared vision, values and of our leadership structure.”
