Benjamin joined LSI in 2011 after a period working as an architectural assistant on education projects for Sheffield City Council following his Part 1, and in the in-house team at the Norwich BioScience Institute following his Part 2, where he was responsible for the development of CAD standards and the management of minor works and refurbishment projects.
Since joining LSI he has worked within the acute healthcare studio gaining experience in private and NHS healthcare projects, including Holly House Hospital and the Louise Hamilton Centre. Whilst working on his Part 3, his role involved assisting job runners with statutory applications, production information and in the day to day handling of projects on site. He also acted as contract administrator for a house extension.
Post Part 3 he has been active on infrastructure projects at Southend Hospital and refurbishment projects at Addenbrookes Hospital, in particular as project architect for the design and delivery of a £0.5M dementia ward refurbishment. Ben has significant CAD experience and is a member of the visualisation steering group within LSI.
