James joined LSI Architects in 2004 as a Pt 1 student, and has dovetailed his continuing education with periods in practice, with the result that his approach demonstrates both practical realism and youthful imagination. In this time he has become fluent in ArchiCAD and is part of a CAD champion group that helps to develop skills across the practice. James became a fully qualified Architect in November 2014.
His portfolio of construction projects relates mostly to the education sector, ranging from work on an Education Centre at Southend University Hospital, to early stage work at Harpley PRU and George Green Schools in London, and more recently on new residences at the UEA. For the £1M Leiston Childrens’ Centre he has taken on the role of job runner under the guidance of an associate.
Alongside the construction work, James has a growing portfolio of masterplanning experience, ranging from private housing, through leisure, commercial and business park schemes in Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk.
