Louise joined LSI in 2007, having exhibited in the 2007 RA Summer Exhibition, received 1st prize for outstanding achievement in Art and Design from Seoul National University in Korea, and other student awards. She qualified in 2009, and was made an associate in 2014.
Over the 7 years, she has worked primarily in the bespoke residential, sports and leisure, and the spectrum of primary to tertiary healthcare sectors on projects up to £3M in value. She helped to win her largest project to date, the £9M Arthur Rank 24-bed Hospice in Cambridge, for which she is the project associate.
The Louise Hamilton Centre at James Paget Hospital, which she delivered as project architect, won recognition in the RICS, CIAT and Building Better Healthcare Award schemes. Louise has extensive experience in user group consultation with multiple stakeholders, and her innovative thinking frequently results in innovative solutions, benefitting patient choice and experience, and assisting the healing process.
Beyond her project roles, Louise is a studio manager, manages the work experience students and represents the practice at careers fairs.
