Rose Hill Primary School
The project involved the creation of colourful and highly stimulating flexible teaching and learning resource spaces within an existing library space. The £130k scheme also involved the introduction of bespoke furniture and space planning in response to the Extended Schools Programme which allows the space to accommodate the Breakfast Club and after school activities, while reverting to library use and teaching space functions during the day. The central space needed to connect to the entrance, reflect the ethos of the school, and required flexible small and large meeting, learning or reading spaces. It was also important to design an effective walkway to staff offices.
