Sketchclub Aviva Special!

Our weekly Sketchclub enjoyed a special treat as they visited Surrey House, home to one of LSI’s most memorable projects, at the Norwich offices of multinational insurance company Aviva.

The project involved the restoration of the Marble Hall within Surrey House, and also saw the addition of a new, 1,000+ sqm atrium linked to offices, with the Grade 1 Listed Surrey House forming a new visitor entrance.  The integration of Surrey House and the restored Marble Hall with the Atrium is a striking architectural arrangement that reflects the history of Aviva, and through the architecture of the Atrium, the twenty-first century aspirations of the company.
