LSI reaches its highest ever AJ100 Ranking

LSI Architects has achieved its highest ever ranking of 69 in the AJ100, the list of the biggest Architectural practices in the United Kingdom as ranked by the Architects Journal.

On the evening of the 2017 AJ100 awards, held at the Tower of London, the Practice was also named as one of the Architecture industry’s best employers having been a finalist in the AJ100 Employer of the Year Award, one of eight Practices to be shortlisted. Partner Peter Courtney commented:

“The Practice is now at the largest it has ever been, and we are delighted to see LSI continue to move up the AJ100. Also, we pride ourselves on being a brilliant employer so to be a finalist in the Employer of the Year category is a great endorsement of the fact that when it comes to looking after our people we are doing things right .

Over the last 12 months, LSI has prioritised supporting the mental health and wellbeing of our employees. We have worked closely with mental health charity MIND to introduce best practice on the subject as we aim to provide a safe, open and honest environment for our employees and successfully foster a culture of creativity, resourcefulness and resilience.

This has been supported by our ongoing commitment to ‘growing our own’, which we are now really seeing the benefit of with 50% of our leadership team consisting of people who have come through the ranks, and over half of our entire team receiving their qualifications whilst in full time employment with us.

Ultimately, our clients tell us that our staff are a pleasure to work with, and we believe that this is because they are happy, highly trained and motivated to deliver the quality design and committed service that our clients should expect from us.

We would like to congratulate all those who received awards on the evening, and all those shortlisted”
