Joseph McKibben Architect

Joe joined LSI in 2014 after completing his RIBA Part I at the Kent School of Architecture. Before joining LSI, Joe worked alongside his father to help build their family home; a valuable experience that gave him a practical understanding that continues to underpin his design skills.

At LSI Joe has worked across a range of sectors, with a particular focus in Education, where he has seen multiple projects from inception through to completion. His high standard of work and service at LSI led him being put forward for the AJ Inspiring Graduate prize in 2016.

In 2018 Joe completed his RIBA Part II at the Sheffield School of Architecture with Distinction. Whilst at Sheffield, Joe collaborated with a local school and their students to research the appropriateness of conventional classroom design and the effect this had on the lesson format in order to explore the benefits of architecture on project-based learning. He enjoys working closely with clients and stakeholders in order to create people-focused architectural solutions.

Joe completed his Part III and qualified as an Architect in 2020.
