Sylwia joined LSI in 2014 after 7 years with the Frederick Gibberd Partnership in the UK with a focus on healthcare work ranging from surgery units to mental health clinics at St Georges, Royal London, St Bartholomew’s and Newham hospitals and a £24M refurbishment and newbuild for the Derwent Centre Mental Health Unit. She particularly values the positive difference such projects can make for their patients.
She has extensive experience in preparing project documentation for all RIBA work stages from initial design presentations, through planning and building control applications, tender packages and construction information including NBS specifications, working in close co-operation with structural, civil, mechanical and electrical engineers under traditional contracts.
At her previous practice, she mentored younger employees to increase their effectiveness in the workplace. As an Associate and project architect at LSI, Sylwia manages teams and liaises with clients and contractors, believing this to be one of her key strengths.
