With the arrival of the LDF process, LSI explored the potential for expanding the nearby village in conjunction with local stakeholders, to fund future College developments.

Associated benefits include the opportunity to use a worked-out quarry for an adjacent Golf Academy, to improve road access to the College, and provide better facilities for the Village.

The strategy endorsed both by the Governors and by the LA envisages a ‘College in a Garden’, reflecting its roots as an agricultural college.
