Primary Healthcare

Our experience

Our Healthcare team holds significant experience in the primary and community care sector, with a thorough understanding of design and procurement within the public sector, and an ability to work closely with and between a wide range of NHS and allied entities.

Work in the primary sector includes community hospitals, health centres, GP practices, and community services, along with specialist residential accommodation.

Stakeholder Engagement

Our team is also highly skilled at undertaking stakeholder engagement with key stakeholder groups including facilities managers, clinicians/teachers, support staff, users (patients/students), relatives and the wider community.

We understand that as Architects we need to engage and motivate stakeholders to ‘open up’ and describe their ambitions for a project, and encourage others to talk freely about their understanding of project opportunities.

We use a range of techniques to explore and present our ideas throughout the design process to help us receive better feedback and the end product is a building or space that better meets the needs of the end users.

Current projects range from minor works to major redevelopments, associated with the delivery of investment and asset management strategies and our team is experienced at leading projects through the outline business case and full business case process including assistance with project planning, option appraisals and risk assessments.

Our use of knowledge and contacts are frequently invaluable to clients in terms of opening up opportunities and resolving issues that arise during the business case process.

Our Primary Healthcare team

Our healthcare portfolio dates back to the 1980’s and the LSI Architects Healthcare team is currently active on framework projects at NHS Hospitals and Trusts across the UK as well as projects for a number of leading private healthcare providers.
