Norfolk Community Diagnostic Centres win RICS East of England Award

We are delighted that the project to deliver the two Norfolk Community Diagnostic Centres has received the award for Community Benefit at the RICS East of England Awards.

The RICS Awards showcase the most inspirational initiatives and developments in land, real estate, construction and infrastructure. The Community Benefit Award recognises outstanding achievement in providing a facility which directly benefits the local community.

The project has delivered vital healthcare facilities, with a clear focus on creating an excellent patient experience, whilst balancing the challenging requirement to accommodate a wide range of state-of-the-art imaging equipment into a condensed amount of space and doing it within budget and programme.

This recognition is a testament to the positive impact these facilities at the James Paget University Hospital and Queen Elizabeth Hospital King’s Lynn are already having in the region, by reducing waiting times and improving patient access to diagnostics and treatment.

As the winner of a regional award, the project will now go forward to the national Community Benefit Award category at the RICS Grand Final in October.
