Reveal: Office Block Refurbishment

LSI have recently developed designs for the contemporary refurbishment and upgrade of an existing 1990s office block in Milton Keynes on behalf of a private developer client.

Design ambitions of the project at Northgate House include enhancing the arrival experience and maximising the sense of space through a comprehensive interiors scheme. The remodelling of existing space will also see inclusive access to the landscaped terraces, providing an opportunity to promote increased staff wellbeing.

Using a slatted timber feature throughout the entrance area, the proposals seek to be warm and timeless. Bright white walls and a monochrome palette will be applied to the building elements whilst the soft furnishings will provide a pop of colour.

The refurbishment will also see a complete upgrade of the mechanical and electrical systems within the building to provide flexibility to suit both single and multi-tenant occupancies. The project has been developed to achieve a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating.
