The brainchild of Michael Innes, who nursemaided the project from start to finish, the 7 level ‘underground’ shopping centre remains LSI’s largest project at well over £80M when built, and some 35Km² in area.

A pedestrian hub in the city centre– all 4 retailing levels connecting with a ground level externally.

Built adjacent to Norwich Castle ancient monument, the scheme provides an accessible and tranquil landscape setting in the heart of the City. Later adapted by LSI to include a multi-screen cinema the Centre remains a key retail destination.

Boasting the largest green roof in the region, the external gardens won a national award from the Landscape Institute.
