State-of-the art Avant Tecno UK Headquarters completes

Construction work on a state-of-the-art, multi-million-pound company headquarters for AVANT Tecno UK at Suffolk Business Park in Bury St. Edmunds has been completed.

The new building provides AVANT Tecno with a UK head office space alongside a purpose designed agricultural machinery storage warehouse and display area, enabling pre-delivery inspection of machines on-site before distribution to their wider dealer network.

Equally, it’s been a privilege to work again with Churchmanor, SEH French and the wider project team, where genuine collaborative effort and ethos of teamwork has translated into a high-quality commercial building that the whole team is extremely proud of.”

The building’s large format composite metal panels, high-performing aluminium windows, and instances of AVANT corporate-coloured metal surrounds have created an attractive, cohesive and modern aesthetic that draws attention as you pass by the building in a well-considered landscape setting.

The visual interest continues internally, where natural timber finishes combine with accent colours and large format artwork, celebrating the Finnish origins of the AVANT brand and promote the ambitions of the business at its UK Headquarters.

Much like the AVANT product, the building itself is designed to serve a diverse range of uses, from warehouse storage and assembly of equipment through to head office functions and product display and promotion. The AVANT and Leguan Training Academy provides a place for representatives nationwide to come together under the AVANT brand and learn about the equipment and consult about future products with a purpose-built external training area, unique to the UK, providing a safe working area for ‘hands-on’ demonstrations and safety training.

AVANT Tecno UK had previously been based near Thetford since 1999, but continued rapid growth saw the need with a new purpose-built headquarters – boasting office space, a showroom, dedicated training facilities, a warehouse with automated technologies and a new technical workshop space.

The new building is highly sustainable and expected to receive a BREEAM rating of ‘Excellent’.
