Easton College Jubilee 3

The third and final phase of new teaching and ancillary accommodation in a dramatic expansion of Norfolk’s agricultural college, over 15 years.

With a willing client, the 3^rd phase achieved BREEAM Excellent with a raft of renewable demonstration technologies, and incorporated an open learning space in readiness for HE courses.

The accommodation schedule defined a requirement for variable sized teaching spaces and a large open learning space. The open learning space provides views out over the countryside to enhance the concept of ‘open learning’. Clad in vertical timber battens, it acts as a focal point and a tactile point of reference in the plan.
