Priscilla Bacon Lodge named a Finalist in CIAT AT Awards

Our project for a new £12.5M charity-funded Hospice building in Norfolk has been shortlisted for the Award for Excellence in Architectural Technology at the 2024 CIAT AT Awards.

Showcasing the technology of architecture at its best, the AT Awards event will be held in East London on 25th October. The awards recognise the exceptional contribution that Architectural Technology practices and professionals make to the built environment, as well as outstanding achievements from students studying the discipline.

Entries are assessed in terms of their innovative response to Architectural Technology, with a judges looking for robust and functional designs that have been constructed economically, are environmentally sustainable and of durable performance.

In addition to 24 inpatient beds, a day unit, and a well-being centre, the new Priscilla Bacon Lodge acts as a hub for community-based services, enabling people to receive care in their own homes. The building also houses office space for the charity’s head office and administrative functions, and a café provides a welcoming space with the generated income going straight to the charity. The new building means more people will receive the best possible end-of-life care at the new Priscilla Bacon Lodge, as it will provide increased choice and access to the specific services they require when they need them.
