Jordan Armstrong Associate

Jordan joined LSI in 2010 as a trainee architectural technologist pursuing a day-release course towards an honours degree in Architectural Technology. Since joining LSI, Jordan has worked almost exclusively on acute healthcare projects, including theatre extensions, an outpatients department and two projects for MRI suites, all procured using either traditional JCT or NHS P21+ procurement routes.

The Major Trauma Centre at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge was notable in that he joined the team at Stage D, and remained involved through the detailed design, procurement and site phases, seeing the £2.2M project through to completion. This led to subsequent work on The Rosie maternity hospital and elsewhere on the Addenbrooke’s campus.

His coordinated room elevations, or ‘C–sheets’, have been the subject of very positive client feedback, through their clarity and inclusion of 3D isometrics, which have greatly assisted users to visualise the clinical spaces proposed, and have featured in national guidance.

With a close attention for detail, and an enthusiasm for producing robust and buildable solutions, Jordan has become a capable and valued member of the healthcare team.
