Steven Cotton Associate Director

Steven joined LSI in 2008 after completing his BTEC National Diploma in Construction. He gained a First in his Architectural Technology degree in 2014, and is now a chartered member of CIAT before becoming an Associate in 2017 and an Associate Director in 2023.

Over this period at LSI, Steven has gained experience in a range of sectors with a focus on healthcare, education and commercial projects including significant work from Stage 3 onwards, such as technical assistance on a £3.5M boarding block for Harefield Academy, and completed extensions for two primary schools for which he was technologist and job runner. Recent work includes a purpose built £6.5M through- school for ASD pupils in the LB of Lewisham,  and the refurbishment of a number of former respite care bungalows into office accommodation for a range of primary healthcare departments for Norfolk and Waveney NHS.

Steven is proficient in ArchiCAD and Solibri. On recent projects the design team led by Steven has taken a collaborative approach to design development within a 3D CAD environment, assisting all stakeholders to have an enhanced understanding of proposals and to optimise the design.
